What are static ISP proxies?
What is a static ISP proxy?
A static ISP proxy, also called a static residential proxy, is a fixed IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet service provider and hosted on a server in a datacenter. Websites see an ISP network in the registry data, and the IP stays the same for your whole rental. At SteadyProxy the rental lasts 30 days. Our guide What is an ISP proxy? explains it in detail.
Do your ISP proxies run on home devices?
No. ISP (static residential) IPs are registered to consumer internet service providers but run on servers in datacenters, not on home devices. No phone, laptop or home router carries your traffic. This is how most static residential products on the market work, because a server can keep one IP fixed for a month. If you need IPs that run on consumer devices, you need a rotating residential product, which SteadyProxy does not sell.
What is the difference between a dedicated and a shared proxy?
A dedicated proxy is used by one customer at a time; a shared proxy is used by several customers at once. At SteadyProxy, every IP is dedicated. Each static IP is rented to one customer for the whole 30-day period; reselling or sharing access with third parties is not allowed. Dedicated does not mean private or unused before. The websites you visit still see the IP, and the IP may have been rented by someone else before your rental.
Which countries and cities can I choose?
SteadyProxy has country pages for the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, plus 18 city pages. Availability varies by country; the checkout shows what is online. A city can be chosen only when the checkout lists it; otherwise the IP is allocated in the country you pick. Some countries are not available, for legal or sourcing reasons, including countries and regions under comprehensive sanctions. Browse the country pages.
Which protocols and authentication methods are supported?
Every IP supports HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5. Authentication: Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Each IP comes with its own host, port, username and password, shown in your dashboard. Use HTTP for browsers and most scraping libraries, and SOCKS5 for tools that need it. The IP allowlisting guide explains how to log in without a password from a fixed server.
Can I send email through a SteadyProxy IP?
No. SMTP ports 25, 465 and 587 are closed on every IP, so you cannot send email through our proxies. The full list of blocked targets is: Banking, government, payment-portal and ticketing sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. These blocks protect the IPs from spam complaints. Bulk or unsolicited messages are also forbidden by the acceptable use policy, whatever the channel.
What do static proxies cost, and how do I pay?
How much does a static proxy cost?
As of October 2026, one ISP IP costs $2.24 for 30 days, 10 ISP IPs cost $20.86 and 100 cost $133.88, which is $1.34/IP · 30 days. One datacenter IP costs $1.34, and 100 cost $59.25. Billing is per IP, not per GB. Each tier is 25% under the lowest public price we found for the same quantity on 19 October 2026. See pricing.
Do I need KYC to buy?
No. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. Account-number login; email is optional. SteadyProxy is built for buyers who prefer not to upload identity documents. No KYC does not mean no rules: we may refuse or suspend service in case of abuse, fraud or a legal obligation, and the acceptable use policy applies to every account. The no-KYC page explains the policy.
Which coins and networks can I pay with?
You can pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Litecoin use their own networks. USDT can be sent on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), and USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20). Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, then click I've sent the payment. The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once confirmed. See crypto payments.
What is the minimum top-up?
The minimum top-up is $25. Starting from a plan, the top-up is its exact price, or $25 for a smaller plan. For example, one ISP IP costs $2.24, so you top up $25. The part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. The rest of your balance never expires.
How do delivery, renewal and refunds work?
How fast are the IPs delivered?
Your IP list (host, port, username, password, country, end date) appears in your dashboard once the IPs are allocated. We do not promise a delivery time in minutes, because allocation depends on stock in the country you choose. If we cannot deliver an order within 24 hours, its full price is credited back to your balance. Check the status page if delivery seems slow, and write to support with the order details.
How does renewal work?
Renewal is manual, from your balance, before the end date. Keeping the same IP after the end date is not guaranteed, so renew on time and check your IP list after renewing. You renew each rental yourself, from your balance, before the end date shown in your IP list. Nothing renews on its own, so top up in time if your balance is low. Our guide on static IP lifetime explains how to plan renewals for allowlists and long-running accounts.
Can I replace an IP that does not work?
Yes, when stock allows. If an IP does not work, write to support: we repair it or replace it with another IP in the same country when stock allows. Give support the IP address, the time of the failure with its time zone and the error you see. A replacement IP is a new address, so update any allowlist or saved configuration that used the old one. A website that refuses the IP is not a fault of the IP itself.
What is the refund policy?
Within 24 hours of delivery, an IP that does not work and that we cannot fix or replace is credited back to your balance in full. An order we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it, and the part added only to reach the minimum follows the 30-day rule. Read the refund policy.
What data is kept, and what if I lose access?
Do you keep logs?
We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. Account, order and top-up records are kept while your account is open. The privacy policy gives the full list.
What happens if I lose my account number?
Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. Store the number in a password manager when you open the account. A public transaction ID alone cannot prove that an account is yours. We never ask for your account number by email or chat.
