Last updated: · 8 min read

Quick answer

How do I buy ISP proxies with Bitcoin?

To buy ISP proxies with Bitcoin at SteadyProxy, pick a plan, choose BTC, send the exact amount shown on the Bitcoin network and click “I’ve sent the payment”. The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once confirmed, after 2 confirmations. As of October 2026, one ISP IP costs $2.24 for 30 days; the top-up is the plan's price, or $25 for a smaller plan. No KYC.

How does a Bitcoin payment work, step by step?

A Bitcoin payment takes six steps:

  1. Pick an ISP plan on the pricing page, for example 10 IPs at $20.86.
  2. Choose BTC. The payment page shows a Bitcoin address and the exact BTC amount. The amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.
  3. Send that exact amount from your wallet, on the Bitcoin network.
  4. Click “I’ve sent the payment”.
  5. The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once it has 2 confirmations.
  6. The plan is bought from your balance. Your IP list (host, port, username, password, country, end date) appears in your dashboard once the IPs are allocated.

Why must the BTC amount be exact?

The exact amount is how we find your payment and link it to your account. Each top-up gets its own amount, down to the last decimal. If an exchange takes its withdrawal fee out of the amount you type, less BTC arrives and the payment no longer matches. Send from a wallet where the fee is added on top, or set the exchange so the amount received equals the amount shown. If the amounts differ, write to support with the transaction ID (TXID).

What does the Bitcoin network fee change?

The network fee goes to the miners, comes on top of the amount and does not change your top-up. Your wallet sets it, usually in satoshis per virtual byte. A low fee can leave the transaction waiting longer before its first confirmation, so we do not promise a credit time. Credit follows once the transaction has 2 confirmations, whatever fee you chose.

Which Bitcoin payment types are not accepted?

Only on-chain BTC on the Bitcoin network is accepted. The payment page does not list Lightning Network invoices. Wrapped or bridged Bitcoin, such as WBTC on Ethereum or BTC tokens on other chains, is not accepted either. Funds sent on another network or in another coin can't be recovered. To pay with a stablecoin instead, see USDT or USDC.

How much BTC do I need for my order?

Starting from a plan, the top-up is its exact price, or $25 for a smaller plan. The payment page converts the USD amount into BTC. The network fee comes on top.

Plan (30 days)PriceTop-up
1 ISP IP$2.24$25
5 ISP IPs$10.88$25
10 ISP IPs$20.86$25
25 ISP IPs$50.46$50.46 (exact price)
50 ISP IPs$70.88$70.88 (exact price)
100 ISP IPs$133.88$133.88 (exact price)

The part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. The rest of the balance stays on your account for any plan.

How does a crypto top-up work at SteadyProxy?

  1. Top up the price of your plan

Pick a plan: the checkout proposes its exact price as the top-up, or {min} for a smaller plan. Choose the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC); the crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.

  3. Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.

  4. Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain

Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. One balance for every product

If you started from a plan, the top-up is its exact price (or the minimum, for a smaller plan): the plan is bought as soon as the top-up is credited, and your static IPs appear in your dashboard once they are allocated. What is left stays on your balance: use it for any of our plans. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

What else do buyers ask?

Can I pay with the Lightning Network?

No. The payment page lists Bitcoin on-chain only, credited after 2 confirmations. A Lightning invoice is not offered. Send a normal on-chain transaction to the address shown, for the exact amount shown. If your wallet holds BTC only on Lightning, move it on-chain first, or pay with USDT.

What if I sent less BTC than the amount shown?

The payment will not match the amount of your top-up. Write to support with the transaction ID (TXID), the time of the payment and the top-up you started. Do not send a second payment for the missing part before support replies. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.

Why does SteadyProxy wait for 2 Bitcoin confirmations?

A transaction is final only once miners include it in blocks. The first confirmation puts it in a block; the second adds one more block on top. Two confirmations protect both sides against a transaction that is replaced or dropped. Time depends on the network and on your fee.

Can I pay from an exchange account?

Yes, if the exchange sends on-chain BTC on the Bitcoin network. Check that the amount received equals the amount shown: many exchanges take their fee out of the amount. The exchange applies its own identity rules; SteadyProxy does not ask for ID.

What if the BTC price moves before my payment confirms?

The amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes from the moment the payment page opens. Send within that window. The USD price of the plan does not change. If the window has passed before you send, start a new top-up rather than sending the old amount.

Is a Bitcoin payment private?

Bitcoin transactions are public on the blockchain: anyone can see the amount and the addresses. No KYC at SteadyProxy means no ID upload, no selfie and no documents. It does not make the transaction invisible. Your wallet or exchange keeps its own records.

Does a Bitcoin TXID prove that the account is mine?

No. A TXID is public, so anyone can copy it. Account-number login; email is optional. Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered.
