## Which KYC category does each provider fall into?

| Category | Meaning | Providers |
| --- | --- | --- |
| No KYC stated | The official site says standard orders need no identity documents | SteadyProxy, ProxyEmpire, GhostConnect, NodeMaven, Kestrel Proxies |
| Conditional | Documents can be asked for above a spend level, for extra access or after a risk review | Bright Data, Decodo, Oxylabs, Rayobyte, Proxy-Seller, Proxy-Cheap |
| Required | Identity check before using the static product | IPRoyal, Infatica |
| Not stated | No public KYC rule found for static proxies | MarsProxies, Webshare, FloppyData |

*Prices checked on October 19, 2026.*

## Does paying in crypto mean no KYC?

No. Payment method and identity checks are separate rules. IPRoyal accepts crypto, yet on 19 October 2026 it stated that static residential proxy users must go through its KYC process. Decodo accepts Bitcoin and says it has a KYC system in place. Proxy-Cheap accepted crypto on 14 October but asked for ID from a $500 top-up. Check both columns before you pay.

## What does no KYC mean at SteadyProxy?

No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. Account-number login; email is optional. It is for buyers who prefer not to upload identity documents. You pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC from a balance; the minimum top-up is $25. No KYC does not change the rules of use: Abuse reports are reviewed by a person, and confirmed abuse leads to suspension. Blocked targets: Banking, government, payment-portal and ticketing sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. Details are on the [no-KYC page](https://steadyproxy.com/no-kyc/) and the [crypto payments page](https://steadyproxy.com/crypto-payments/).

## Which providers replace a static IP that stops working?

Most providers publish some replacement rule, but the limits differ a lot. IPRoyal allows one free replacement per new order within 24 hours, under 500 MB used. Rayobyte gives one free replacement per IP per month. Decodo charges $0.70 per IP and excludes crypto purchases. GhostConnect allows one swap per paid term for the whole order. Infatica gives no replacement once IPs are assigned. SteadyProxy publishes one rule for every static IP. If an IP does not work, write to support: we repair it or replace it with another IP in the same country when stock allows. Refund rules are on the [refunds page](https://steadyproxy.com/refunds/).

## Which entry price goes with each policy?

Entry prices range from one IP to 20 IPs. SteadyProxy, MarsProxies, ProxyEmpire, GhostConnect, Proxy-Seller, Proxy-Cheap and Kestrel Proxies sell a single ISP IP. Decodo starts at 3 IPs, Oxylabs and Rayobyte at 5, Bright Data at 10, Webshare and FloppyData at 20. Prices per IP at every quantity are in the [static proxy price index 2026](https://steadyproxy.com/data/static-proxy-price-index-2026/).

## What else do buyers ask about KYC and crypto?

### Which ISP proxy providers need no KYC and take crypto?

On their official sites, ProxyEmpire (19 October 2026), GhostConnect (19 October), NodeMaven (14 October) and Kestrel Proxies (14 October) state both. SteadyProxy also sells dedicated ISP IPs with no ID, no selfie and no documents, paid in crypto. Each provider can still refuse restricted targets or review abuse reports.

### Does IPRoyal require KYC for ISP proxies?

Yes, for static residential proxies. On 19 October 2026 IPRoyal's pricing page said static residential proxy users have to go through its KYC process. IPRoyal also accepts crypto and advertised more than 25 coins on 14 October. Its static residential product is the same type of product others call ISP proxies.

### Is Bright Data ISP access subject to KYC?

Bright Data's KYC FAQ covers its residential and mobile networks. On 14 October 2026 it stated that ISP and datacenter proxies stay usable while a residential KYC check is pending. Account and payment checks may still apply. Bright Data listed no crypto payment on its pricing pages on 19 October 2026.

### Why is a provider marked conditional?

Conditional means documents are not asked for every order, but can be asked for in stated cases. Proxy-Cheap asked for ID from a $500 top-up on 14 October 2026. Oxylabs asks for a short KYC to enable restricted targets. Decodo and Proxy-Seller describe checks for extra access or after a risk review.

### What does not stated mean in the matrix?

It means we found no public KYC rule for the static product on the official pages we read. It is not proof that the provider never asks for documents. MarsProxies, Webshare and FloppyData fall in this category. Ask the provider before you pay if identity checks matter to you.

### Can I get a refund without KYC at SteadyProxy?

Yes, refunds do not need identity documents. Take an IP that fails within 24 hours of delivery. If we cannot fix or replace it, its price goes back to your balance in full. An order we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. The full rules are on the refunds page.
